Testimony Of Joshua Shrader

I am Joshua Shrader, a follower of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I love Jesus. I had departed from NY in a spur of the moment. I was originally departing for San Francisco CA, when I decided to change my direction to the Mardi Gras, in New Orleans. Upon reaching New Orleans, I followed the gutter punks (or so we were called), until confronted by the ministries. It was at that time, I had made a promise to the Lord early in the day not to drink or smoke! I broke that promise later on that evening and was instantly frowned upon by those who had tried to deliver me... (Keep in mind I was about four days of no sleep and body wear and tear.) The next morning I felt deep remorse for what I had done and cried out to God for forgiveness. Now the devil was working on the things my ears were hearing around me.. All of it real, mind you. People were looking to strike me but I ran into two ministers of God who prayed with me and told me that by faith alone I could walk above literally all those seeking violence or wrongdoing against me. So I held onto my bible and walked straight into Bourbon Street where I felt the evil. I kept my eyes on God and knew He had His hands wrapped around me and nothing could hurt me. Thus was how I learned what faith is all about, that you know God has got you and will do everything. Then I was walking and met Terry and his family and they kept me walking so I could not turn from God, which brings me here, still with God and Jesus forever to come and his kingdom awaits me forever . Thank you Jesus I will follow you forever and ever and ever and ever.. God bless all those at Mardi Gras ministering and bless Terry and family in whom the Lord has blessed me.
